Patterns

Why is it that some things we have to go through more than once in order to learn a lesson? I had this epiphany the other day on how many patterns I’ve repeated time and time again until the stupid lesson gets into my head and I can change how I roll.

The important thing when bad patterns and cycles come to light is to acknowledge what needs to be changed. Let go of the past. Face your fears. Change your thoughts. See the flaws and bad circumstances as a chance to re-invent yourself. Take your flannel and get creative instead of just throwing it on.

We are all human and will always need to change and face our flaws in order to become better human beings. It sucks to make mistakes, but it sucks even more when you stay in the same place for a very long time. Be grateful when your awareness is heightened and move on.
