Human Connection

We all have images or ideas of different cultures, cities and people – these images define people we don’t even know personally. We don’t stop to think – I don’t live there, I don’t know this person, how would I really know? These past few weeks have taught me the beauty of human connection. When it comes down to it, we are all the same.

Moving to a new place can open one’s eyes to the idea that if you get to know someone, you’re less likely to hate them. You’re less likely to cut them off. You’re less likely to judge them. You’re less likely to listen to stigmas about their gender and/or race.

I know there are many assholes out there even when you get to know them. And I have my bad days. Ones where I am the asshole – cold to every stranger I pass by. But those days are pretty rare because I try to maintain this mindset of “what you give is what you get.”

There is a new perspective blooming inside this head of mine. I can’t wait to share it with you all. For now, enjoy this outfit featuring my favorite store in the whole wide world Zara (haven’t lived near one till now).
