I feel like every time I write a blog post now I’m like “my life is insane, I have no time ARIGHSIOHGOIDFH.” So here I am, doing it again. I just have a little tidbit of a story:
I remember when I was maybe around 8 years old I decided I was going to move to New York one day. I was pretty oblivious to most of the world around me (“la la la” – me whenever tragedy struck), but I did understand what it felt like to feel home. I have always felt a sense of “home” in people, but there was never a place I felt like I could a hundred percent be myself. I think that being able to be yourself and do what you genuinely love is a huge part of feeling home. And I feel it now – that true sense of peace and settlement into creating a life in this city. For the first time I know in my heart this is exactly where I’m meant to be.
So here I am. It’s 2018 and I have already accomplished so much in just nine months of living in the greatest city in the world (I might be bias). I want to share every part of it with you. I am trying to put together another touristy NYC blog post, so stay tuned! In the meantime here are pictures of me in Madison Square Park sipping on a milkshake and minutes before I got trampled on the subway.
